MUSIC

Please note that the most recent music made by Will can be found here.

Using an improvised recording studio in my room, I have created these tracks. It was difficult to bear; living among my equipment for four years in four different houses (and not to mention moving it all around), but these little clips of sound are one of the two main testaments to the validity of these endeavours. Not because they are particularly amazing songs, but because they are there, and I have learnt from making them.

MORE DETAILS...

Each track was written for a different purpose. One is an 'acoustic jam,' which I recorded as an experiment to test out my first mult-itrack recording software, in addition to playing around with the E pentatonic scale over variations on E chords. The song "Tabloid Quickfix" is a documentation of a track that I wrote a while beforehand. It originally contained vocals, but I abandoned the project of making a proper recording on the basis that new ideas are always more interesting and subsequently potent than old ones. The most recent tracks on here were written and recorded on the fly for the flash game "Fricken."

EARLY MUSIC...

Before I started recording music, and before I started even playing guitar, I used to spend a lot of time mixing samples using programs like Ejay and Acid Music. If you are interested in hearing the ejay mixes, you can download some of them by clicking below.
